Well, the news is out! We are officially moving to George West, TX. Population 2611! It is a bigger 2A school right between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Yes, we will be approximately ONE HOUR to the beach! :) YEAH!!!!
We already have rented a house and the UHaul has been scheduled for June 25th. It will be a very long day...GW is about 8 hours from where we are now.
But the town is wonderful! Everyone has been so friendly! Our new house is "huge"! And we are so looking forward to the move!
Jett will be repeating kindergarten. He has a summer birthday, and even though his teacher here said he is VERY smart, we are still going to let him do kinder again. We figure, it's a new town, lots of change....He'll be fine!
Harley will be attending a daycare in GW. She LOVES "school"! Getting so big....my baby is growing up!
I am going to be a teachers aide/office help at the primary school in GW. I am really excited about a change, but I must admit, I will miss the interaction with the older kids. I love my job now and I am hoping to get involved in some way later on down the line.
I guess that's all for now. More later! :)

Alumni Game...One more Week of BBall!!! HOORAY!!!
Ok, I know this must sound a little selfish but I am extremely happy about there only being one more week of basketball left until I get all my guys for baseball and we can finally start to rock and roll...
Of note:
* This weekend was the Round Rock Alumni game. It was awesome to see everyone and see how things are going. It is almost like going to a reunion every year and catching up. This year I ended up catching like 4 innings and didn't even kill myself. I also had my first hit (albeit against my old coach, but when you don't usually get a lot of hits anymore, you will take it as you get it. Going to Junior's and spending time with Scott Hampton and his wife, Andy Peoples, Blair Howell and the rest of the bunch was cool. We definately need to do it again.
* The only thing nad about going to Austin was the driving part. I do not like driving on a late Friday and having to drive back on Sunday!!! And I missed a chance to play golf!!! Oh well.
* Erica got her wisdom tooth pulled on Wednesday and the trooper was in A form on Saturday. Can you believe that? I think I would be crying like a little schoolgirl and she comes out and struts her stuff. I am impressed...I love you Baby!!!
Well enough I guess for right now. I am glad that Joelle got kicked off the biggest loser (really the on ly real show I watch) and now that DWTS is back on here I know I will not be able to talk to my wife for that hour!!!
Until next time!

Baseball, Basketball and Life
Well, Practice started last friday and we have had 4 practices so far. Let me tell you that having practice with only 5 guys is very tough- really gets you to think outside the box. I am very grateful for this opportunity because in coaching I don't see how you can go through somethin glike this and not become a better coach for it. My compadres who are in much bigger school has no idea what this is like and I am grasping the experience and letting him soak in. I am the steak soaking in marinade, lol.
Well Erica got another Wisdomm tooth taken out just this morning. What a brave chick. Drove by herself, had it doen by a guy in a cave (ok, maybe not) and then drove home. I am impressed. Then to make matter even more tough for her, she is going to come to Round Rock this weekend just to go to my alumni game and then turn around and drive back. She doesn't know it yet but I am going to try to get back so I can play some golf on Sunday, which means i would to leave around 6 in the morning.
I was so juiced the other night after a basketball game because I have my catcher who is one of my five along with a junior who is going to pitch for me this year (apparently he "used" to pitch) The session was in the gym and all we did was throw fastballs from the stetch and just toseed and learned how to hold a curveball, slider, and changeup. I was really hoping he could become a secondor third pitcher, but he will have the stuff to be our number one. It really just depends on whether or not he can handle the new pressure on the mound...
Speaking of basketball, I actualluy had to referee last nights JV boys basketball game. I was pretty good I must say, but still is a lot of running around...I felt like a dog on a dog run! No wonder I didn't like basketball that much growing up!!!
Decided that our next puppy will probably have to be a Newfie. I just can't get over a dog that is as big as my great dane but heavier and that countries and organizations use these dogs to resue people from the seas and rivers. Think of a black lab on steroids...About 150-175 pounds, slighty smaller but more muscular than a great dane and looks like a black bear... How cool is that?!?
Enough for right now, I have to get back to my class- they are silently reading and now we are going to have a pop quiz...

Such a productive day!!!
So this was the 2nd day of baseball practice for Joey. He also had golf practice today (since there are only so many hours in a week...they have to practice on Saturdays). Didn't see much of him. However, the kids and I had a great day! I got a BOO-COO!!! of cleaning done. Kitchen clean, living room cleaned and dusted. And I was even able to do a little laundry. And the best part--I was able to find the top of my dresser in our bedroom AND VACUUM!!!! AMAZING!!!! Yes, it is 7pm, and yes, I did not get out of my pajamas all day. But by God my house is clean!!! :) YIPPEEEE!!! Now my kids rooms are DISASTER AREAS...but in their defense--they stayed out of mommy's way most of the day and let me clean.
As a side note, I was able to file our taxes last night! WOOHOO!!!! I can't remember the last time we filled them in JANUARY...
Tomorrow should be a great day of playing the wii and more laundry...maybe there will be a great marathon on TLC or something... :)
Since it is baseball season now, I am going to make a conscious effort to be patient....more later!

Watching Erica fish is boring...
So I am sitting here watching Erica play Animal Crossing for the Wii, realizing that baseball practice is now just three days away. Our first day of practice is the 30th, but ufortunately because of basketball I will only see about 5-6 kids daily until the Bball season is over. Right nw they are 0-4 in district so privately I am hoping that I can see my kids sooner, but I would love for them to step up and play better down the stretch.
Things have been pretty crazy- I got in trouble because I let my senior golf kids (I am the head Golf coach also) pick out some shirts and we got black shirts with an orange R on them. Problem is we are not Black and White but Orange and White. Needless to say, I think we have to get different shirts. All I have to say is...whatever.
Kids are doing good. My practice TAKS is doing good. Everything is going pretty much good. I just hope my catcher this year can catch and I hope we can hit better than we did last year. Who Knows
Well, the weather is crappy, school doesn't start until 10am tomorrow, life can't get much better right now...Except for those darn black golf shirts!

Why do I have ADD?!?!?!?!
So school has started back and so has work. Nice to be back to a routine, however random it may be...
Jett is back at school. Loving every minute of it. Harley is also back at "school" and she is getting bigger everyday. Lord help us all, she is going to be THREE in a month!!! YIKES! :) Joey is out at the baseball field almost everyday trying to get things in order, fixed, painted, etc. My first day of teaching Abstinence to 9th & 10th Graders was yesterday. DOn't really know why I was so nervous, but I was! I just kept envisioning high school and I thought I was gonna throw up. But it was not bad. Completely painless and almost enjoyable! :) YEAH!!!
I have a lot on my plate for this semester and I think that all this working has caused me to contract ADD! I might really need medication.... :) I have every intention of getting things done, and the last couple days have just been very uneventful. Not because there was nothing to do, but because I would find myself doing other stuff....mainly on the demon-computer in my office. Looking at jobs for Joey, or houses, or clothes.....you know, normal spring stuff. Keep us in your prayers. Looks like this spring might be a bumpy one (fingers crossed). More to come!
